As Director of Policy at BluePath Health, Stephanie Thornton works with clients and coalitions to analyze health care policy and advise on implementation. She supports projects related to telehealth, Health Information Exchange (HIE), and expanding access in the Medi-Cal program. Stephanie is well-versed in state and federal legislative processes and tracks innovation efforts related to the social drivers of health.
Previously, Stephanie served as a policy analyst for nonprofit organizations, leading policy development and advocacy efforts to improve telehealth access for children, expand community-based oral health care, and fund community health navigators. She has contributed to the development of California’s Medicaid waivers, including CalAIM.
She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
