This past December, the BluePath Health team gathered for our annual Holiday Retreat. It offered our team a moment to reflect, reconnect, and close the year with intention. While the retreat created space for team building, it also centered on something deeply important to us: philanthropy and community impact.

BluePath Health was honored to partner with Marin CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and the Marin Foster Care Association to bring holiday cheer to local youth in Marin. Our team came together to wrap holiday gifts for foster youth and youth in the Marin County Juvenile court system, turning our time together into a meaningful act of service.
Marin CASA recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children and youth in the juvenile system. These volunteers remain with their child from the beginning to the end of the case and advocate for their child’s fundamental needs – medical, mental health, educational, cultural, and permanent home placement. The Marin Foster Care Association works alongside caregivers and community partners to support foster families and improve outcomes for children in care, particularly during critical moments like the holidays.
The impact of this partnership was felt immediately and personally. One Marin CASA volunteer shared the following after delivering a gift to a young person they support:
“I just wanted to let you know how much ——- LOVED her holiday gifts. She said thank you so many times. I didn’t give much specific direction on the books and she said she had read a few pages at Target once and always wanted those books. The sweatshirt fit and she loves The Gap and also enjoyed the lavender lotion. Thank you for giving her a happy holiday.”
Moments like this remind us that small, thoughtful actions matter. At BluePath Health, our mission doesn’t stop at our day-to-day work. It shows up in how we support our community and stand alongside organizations that care for and protect those who need it most. This work reflects our commitment to improving health outcomes and strengthening community well-being in lasting, meaningful ways.
We are grateful to Marin CASA and the Marin Foster Care Association for the incredible work they do year-round, and we are proud to stand alongside them in helping make the holidays brighter for Marin County youth.
