Amy Luisetti

Amy Luisetti has over 25 years of experience in healthcare management and information systems consulting. She has extensive experience designing and managing large scale operational initiatives for a broad spectrum of health care industry clients, including hospitals, health plans, pharmaceutical distributors, IPAs, outpatient medical practices, foundations, and healthcare technology companies. Amy began her consulting career in the health care practice at Andersen Consulting, after which she worked for two boutique consulting firms before joining BluePath Health. Amy holds a BS in Biological Sciences from University of California at Davis and an MPH from University of California at Berkeley.

Lauren Jacobson, MDP

Lauren Jacobson

Lauren Jacobson joined BluePath Health as a Manager in 2021 with experience in program management, resource development, and communications. Her work focuses on implementing health access initiatives for youth and the justice involved population, partnering with community-based organizations, schools, government agencies, health care providers, and funders.

Prior to joining the BluePath Health team, she was a Program Manager for a California safety-net organization, where she oversaw projects for foster care, behavioral health, First 5 centers, and transitional-aged youth (TAY) programs. Her past experience includes developing communications and access strategies at the Foundation for Innovative and New Diagnostics, as well as consulting for CellScope Technologies and Gilead Sciences. She also gained experience in research and data analysis for HIV prevention as a USAID Global Development Fellow for the MatCH Research Institute. Lauren holds a BA in Sociology from Vassar College and a MDP from University of California, Berkeley.

Erika Cerutti

Erika  is Controller with BluePath Health and brings over 20 years of experience in bookkeeping and executive administration for a variety of industries. She brings her combined expertise in technical bookkeeping and professional soft skills to help BluePath Health achieve their objectives. Managing accounting functions, project schedule coordination, and client service with aplomb, she  is well-established as an office manager and bookkeeper extraordinaire in Marin County. Erika began her career as a registered nurse at Berkeley-Orinda Women’s Health and with Marta Spain, M.D., in Greenbrae. She holds a BS  in Nursing from the Samuel Merritt School of Nursing at Saint Mary’s College. She earned a registered nurse license and public health nurse license, then later obtained a national bookkeeper certification and a certificate of applied accounting.

Stephanie Thorton, MPP

Stephanie Thornton

Stephanie Thornton joined BluePath Health as a Policy Manager in 2022. She supports projects related to telehealth, Medi-Cal, and Health Information Exchange (HIE). Stephanie works with BluePath’s clients and coalitions to analyze healthcare policy and create presentations and educational materials that provide recommendations for implementation in California. She is well-versed in the budget and legislative processes, and has worked extensively to support efforts to improve access in the Medi-Cal program.

Previously, Stephanie worked as a policy analyst for nonprofit organizations Community Health Councils and The Children’s Partnership. She has led policy development and advocacy efforts in partnership with diverse stakeholders to improve telehealth access for children, expand community-based oral health care, and fund community health navigators in California. She has engaged in the development and creation of California’s Medicaid waivers, including the CalAIM initiative, and closely follows federal and state innovation efforts to address the social determinants of health.

She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Public Policy from UC Berkeley.

Paul Norton

Paul is a Director with BluePath health and advises early-stage technology companies and healthcare nonprofits on product strategy, partnership development, and policy advocacy. Paul was most recently an Associate Director of Product at Oscar Health, focused on the company’s B2B partnerships and joint ventures. Before that, he was Director of Policy at Manifest MedEx, one of the country’s largest nonprofit health data networks, where he helped spearhead the passage of the state’s first data sharing mandate for providers and health plans. Paul began his career in Boston with roles at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and athenahealth. He holds an MBA and MPH from University of California, Berkeley and a BA in economics and cello performance from Brandeis University. 

Nell Gharibian

Nell Gharibian

Nell is an experienced management consultant who specializes in helping businesses identify new marketplace opportunities, re-imagine business processes and sort out organizational challenges. When tackling challenging issues, Nell is adept at translating complex information into practical insights and actions that can be shared with broad audiences.

Prior to joining BluePath Health, Nell consulted on strategy and change management initiatives for Fortune 500 companies across a wide range of industries including software, insurance, consumer products, automotive, and financial services. Nell holds a BA in Political Science, with minors in Sociology and Justice Studies from the University of New Hampshire, and a MA in Government from the College of William and Mary.

Madison Olmstead, MPP

Madison Olmstead

Madison joined BluePath Health as a Manager in 2023. She provides project management, policy analysis, and strategic communications skills to support numerous complex initiatives, including the CalAIM Alameda PATH Collaborative. She comes to BluePath Health with experience working in health policy and public health within nonprofit, state government, and federal government settings. Prior to joining BluePath, Madison conducted California health policy research related to insurance benefit mandates, value-based care, primary care, and quality for the California Health Benefits Review Program (CHBRP) and for Children Now. Before moving back to her home state of California for graduate school in 2021, she served as a Public Health Advisor with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, stationed in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Madison holds a Master of Public Policy from the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy, where she was awarded the Smolensky Prize for Outstanding Advanced Policy Analysis, and a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago.

Frankie Veverka

Frankie Veverka

Frankie is an Associate with BluePath Health where she focuses on maintaining BluePath’s internal and client websites, supporting and engaging in relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. She provides high-quality research for projects regarding Medicaid telehealth reimbursement and maintaining coalition and client communications. Her past experience includes governance of internal content management systems, creation of global field communications, and program management across the Global Sales and Sales Enablement sectors at DocuSign Inc. Frankie holds a BS in Human Development with a focus in Environmental and Public Health from the University of California, Davis, where she additionally studied Environmental Engineering.

Kevin Quach, MPH

Kevin Quach

As an Associate at BluePath Health, Kevin provides research and policy analysis support to various client projects including state e-consult program implementation and other telehealth initiatives. In addition, he conducts research on various healthcare policy topic areas including e-consult reimbursement, Medicaid managed care, and payer affordability/value-based care.

Prior to joining BluePath, Kevin worked extensively with several policy and advocacy organizations to advance racial justice and health equity for underserved communities. His work at OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates and the Southeast Asia Resource Action Center (SEARAC) focused on advancing civil rights and racial justice for Asian American communities through various policy advocacy efforts and community programming. At Center Road Solutions, he managed federal appropriations requests for clients working on advancing maternal mental health equity and preventing violence in schools. During his time at the California Primary Care Association, he supported workforce development initiatives for community health centers and provided policy research support related to the 340B drug pricing program.

He holds a BS in Psychology and History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health and a MPH in Health Policy from Yale University/Yale School of Public Health.

Olivia Bundschuh, MPP

Olivia Bundschuh

Olivia Bundschuh (she/her) received her master’s May 2023 at UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy. She has been tracking CalAIM implementation with the Insure the Uninsured Project (ITUP) to uplift local issues and identify opportunities to support implementation across the state. Olivia is excited to work with participating organizations to address local gaps and needs to build sustainable ECM and Community Supports programs.

Prior to graduate school, Olivia worked in Washington DC for a variety of players in the health policy field: a health insurance association, a research/government contracting firm, and a nonprofit organization. She currently lives in Berkeley with her dog and enjoys taking advantage of the numerous local hiking trails!

Sarah Kang, MPP

Sarah Kang

Sarah Kang joined BluePath Health as a Graduate Summer Intern in May of 2022. As an intern, she conducted research and interviews with the Blue Shield of California’s Industry Initiatives Team on a white paper centered around the Social Determinants of Health and how health plans can continue to address them. Additionally, Sarah analyzed data and created fact sheets summarizing California’s Telehealth policies and budding Data Exchange Framework. She continues to support multiple BPH projects for government agencies, health plans, and community-based organizations with data analysis, research, and project development.

Prior to joining the BluePath Health team, she was a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at the Mayo Clinic where she managed care for the most critically ill patients. She recieved her Master of Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy and the University of California, Berkeley in May 2023. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University.

Gabriellah Agar

Gabriellah Agar

Gabriellah started with BluePath Health as a Graduate Intern in January 2023, contributing her skills to the Marin 9 to 25 initiative. Her role involved managing the youth wellness campaign, “Find Your Way,” a project she continues to spearhead as an Associate. Gabriellah’s academic credentials include a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Reno, Nevada, and a Bachelor of Science in Global Public Health with a Leadership minor from Dominican University of California, where she was recognized as an Outstanding Student in the 2021 graduating class.

Driven by a community-focused passion for public health, Gabriellah is committed to advocating for health equity and justice among the youth. Her expertise extends beyond public health; she brings a creative flair to her work, with a background in graphic design, social media, and data visualization. She is very dedicated to fostering healthy communities.

Emma Jeffries

Emma is a is a healthcare strategist with 10 years of experience in health plans and hospital systems, designing and implementing innovative strategies in population health management, value-based care, and Medicaid and Fully Insured products. She started her career in healthcare implementing NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home across primary care practices at Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior to joining BluePath, she spent five years in healthcare consulting at Deloitte, focused on strategy design and operations improvement at large health plans and hospital systems. Emma earned her MBA and MPH from University of California, Berkeley.

Maya Harrison

Maya is is an Associate at BluePath Health and supports the team’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) initiatives. She provides support for BluePath’s clients and coalitions in curating educational materials, assisting in project management, and facilitating discussions to further advance data sharing. Prior to joining the team, Maya interned with various health care and finance organizations including Health Advances, USB, and TD Securities. Maya holds a BA in Human and Organizational Development and Medicine, Health, and Society from Vanderbilt University.

Tatum Elshire

Tatum is an associate at BluePath Health, having joined the team in September 2024. As a full-time member, Tatum supports PATH projects in the Tri-Counties and Alameda Counties, providing quality research and assistance to advance the implementation of CalAIM initiatives. 

Tatum’s previous experience includes project management, case management, and event coordination with CASA of San Luis Obispo, as well as Clinical Peer Counseling for highly sensitive clients at Windhorse Integrative Mental Health. Her work with Gravity Water, a nonprofit dedicated to installing sustainable drinking water systems in schools in developing countries, has also deeply influenced her commitment to environmental sustainability and community impact.

Tatum holds a B.A. in Comparative Ethnic Studies with a minor in Graphic Communications from California Polytechnic State University, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Summer 2022. She is also a certified yoga teacher and advocate for accessible mental and physical health resources for all individuals, particularly those from marginalized communities.

Trisha Chhaya, MBA

Trisha Chhaya

Trisha Chhaya has 15 years of experience in business strategy and operations with a focus on healthcare and digital health. She has developed and executed corporate and customer strategy and executed on these strategies by building critical operational, technology enabled capabilities for community based organizations, startups, and for Fortune 500 clients.

While at BluePath, Trisha has developed and driven CalAIM TA PATH Marketplace engagements and is focused on developing an approach to a scalable, data infrastructure strategy that bridges the divide between traditional healthcare and community based organizations and companies. Trisha has led operations teams in the telehealth startup space (Eden Health and Midi Health) along with 14+ client engagements with Deloitte Consulting and developed a multi-million product business based on thousands of global, Salesforce implementations. Trisha has an ability to influence stakeholders, build executable plans tied to company KPIs, and help companies build for their future.

Prior to her career in healthcare, Trisha worked in finance in infrastructure investing and in investment banking. Trisha holds an engineering degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

Toria

Toria Thompson

Toria has over 20 years experience leading healthcare technology transformations. With a background as a software engineer, and founder of a healthcare related startup, she brings healthcare expertise, technology experience and process solutions to her consulting engagements.

Toria has worked in all aspects of healthcare including Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial health plans, large and small health systems, FQHCs, behavioral health focused organizations and technology solutions vendors. She has particular expertise in interoperability among behavioral health, criminal justice, school based and community based information systems.

Nancy Vernon

Nancy Vernon

Nancy Vernon is a senior manager with over 20 years of leadership experience in business, government and nonprofits. She has managed dozens of complex projects from early concept through planning, launch and implementation. Her work is guiding a collective impact of community, county, agencies and other stakeholders towards realizing equitable outcomes for all Marin County youth. She works closely with young people and adult allies across the county to build engagement through a series of programs and projects in the areas of mental health and wellness, overdose prevention, social justice and education.

Before joining Bluepath, Nancy worked in sales and marketing for Procter and Gamble, account management for J. Walter Thompson and most recently, served as the senior legislative aide for a county supervisor, focusing on transportation safety, housing/homelessness, health and wellness and public health. She is passionate about her volunteer role with CASA, advocating for children’s safety and well-being in the court system.

Nancy holds a BA in English from University of the South and an MAT in English from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Mark serves as Executive Assistant to the President and Executive Director, Timi Leslie.

 

 

Glen Moy

Glen has over 20 years of health information technology experience, focusing on health information exchange and interoperability. He has held health informatics roles in a variety of healthcare settings including acute, ambulatory, corrections, and payer. Prior to joining BluePath Health, he was a product director for Carbon Health, with responsibilities for the company’s revenue cycle management  electronic health record systems and its interoperability initiatives. Glen holds a BA from University of Chicago.

Ellen Badley

Ellen has over 20 years of health plan knowledge. Ellen served as Deputy Director for Benefits and Quality Monitoring, responsible for leading the division that monitors and reports on the contractual and quality performance of 31 health, dental and vision plans. Additionally, Ellen was at the Department of Managed Health Care, served as project manager for the implementation of federal health care reform as well as serving as Assistant Deputy Director for Health Technology advising the Director on the development and implementation of policies, regulations and procedures to promote the Department’s mission of ensuring high quality health care under managed care, especially as it related the use of health information technology within health systems and medical groups. She has her Masters in Health Adminisration from the University of Southern California.

Emili Cossio | Bluepath Health

Emili Cossio

Emili is a Manager at BluePath Health and brings over 10 years of healthcare experience in program management, strategic communications, and complex event management. Prior to joining the BluePath team, she was Director of Strategic Engagement at Insure the Uninsured Project, where she managed the organization’s extensive network of statewide and local partners, led strategic communications and provided event planning oversight to ensure seamless operations and enhancement of the organization’s impact. Her past experience includes developing programming and providing technical assistance for community health centers for the California Primary Care Association. Emili holds a BA in Anthropology from University of California at Santa Cruz.

Holly Myers

Holly  brings more than twenty years of experience in marketing and event management
to BluePath Health. She has worked in the software, wine, education and non-profit industries
and is skilled in developing marketing strategy, public relations, product packaging, brand
identity and event management for start-ups and mid-size companies.
Holly also has six years of experience fundraising for a public school foundation, raising more
than $1M annually from the local community. She is invested in improving health outcomes
through nutrition, education and advocacy. Holly has a BA in Public Policy from Duke University.
